Massive Coaching....

Considering doing a massive coaching session where tons of people are sweating my play for an hour or two.. something to that extent, I don't wanna do free (would rather do discounted reeeeeal low.. although it could happen, will depend on interest whether or not it runs at all) Post in the comments with suggestions/whether or not you're interested..

  2. 7. I may be completely discontinuing coaching soon in light of this.

Now a massive coaching session? Are the bailiffs at your door? Really don't get it. Aren't games tough enough? Let's say u make 60k in a year averaging 9% ROI. You then make 10k from coaching say 12 people. They all get in your games reducing your ROI hugely imo to at the most 6%. That's 20k less in profits, overall a 10k loss from teaching every man and his dog how to play! Maths might be a bit off there but shouldnt be too much. Senseless man, senseless.

  4. @DM - This was going to be my saying goodbye to coaching... and after its over basically stopping altogether.. second - most of the players I've coached were regs to begin with - I do my best to table select a lot of the games I play so as to NOT play with to many regs - breakeven or otherwise... And finally, I bounce around between enough games where other players don't that I don't think my bottom line isn't hurt as much as you think..

  5. But, if enough regs don't want it to take place it won't lol...

  7. Definitely interested.
Although I think it'd be EV- for you for the reasons stated above, since you'll be teaching a lot of advanced stuff that eventually some of us will be using against you, unless you're thinking of playing other game, such as PLO, which you refered in a previous post. Rather than that, i think it'd be an awesome experience for us players who'd be able to take it.

GL at plo, something tells me you'll crush there aswell :)

  9. My skype got blown up a bit by regs who don't seem thrilled at the idea.. doesn't seem to be a ton of pos. interest outside of "don't do it, but if you do let me watch" lol... so idk - no one has suggested anything either as far as whether they'd really prefer a sweat/HH review of mine - and cost hasn't been discussed but it wouldn't be more than $25... thoughts lol?

  10. I think a group of 10 at $20 per head for hours would be good,

I guess the regs dont want any other solid players, but, if you think about it, it could take weeks to make one solid grinder

  12. even though I can't play right now, I'd still be down to watch

  13. Sounds really nice offering discounting coaching - giving something back. What I would suggest is to make a let’s say 6 week course price it something around 200 – 250 $ and split this 6 weeks to 3 live sweat sessions and 3 to general topics which would be discussed on a group chat/ call through Skype. You could be making a presentation on a topic and people chat and make questions.
Regardless of the format I would definitely be interested if you decide to implement this.
    GG Sir GL in 2012.

  15. I think sweat would be better, with you explaining what goes on in your head.

  16. Why charge less per person just because there's lots of them? If anything you should charge more. $200 per hour per man minimum mate!!

  17. Lol - this is a little better feedback wise - It'll take me some time to think it over/look through everything and come to a decision - Thanks

  18. imo you're stupid if you give coaching for free. you give a lot of people insight to your way of playing, not only bad for yourself but also for other regs

  19. i am interested in this opportunity just so i can get a better handle on your ranges

  20. Thinking more about it with several people ghosting me I could easily be colluded against (obv) so I'd need to record the session first - So gonna need to get the software for that/etc before I think about it any further
